Snow Pads for Series I Shoes

The Series I “glue-on” horseshoe can be used with conventional snow pads in the snow & ice. The integral, ¼-inch thick, concave-relieved rim-pad allows the use of a standard snow pad. A unique, added feature is that this Sound Horse horseshoe easily allows the farrier/owner/trainer to install and remove the snow pad without removing the horseshoe.

Castle Plastics 1/8 inch thick Snow Pad		Use Shaped Shoe as a Template -- OR		Trace the Shoe Outline onto Snow Pad
Cut inside the traced line by 5/8 – 3/4 inch		Pad can be cut with sheet metal shears		New & Trimmed (used) Snow Pad

This is a fast, simple and reliable system utilizing a readily available snow pad. The pictured pad on the far right was left on a horse for over two weeks. This horse is turned out and ridden every day.
